Anthony Lynham
Dr Anthony Joseph Lynham (born 12 April 1960) is an Australian oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Labor politician, and a member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland representing the electoral district of Stafford. He is currently the Queensland Minister for State Development and Minister for Natural Resources and Mines.
==Medical career==
Lynham graduated in Dentistry from the University of Queensland (1982) and Medicine from the University of Newcastle (1993), before completing training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Queensland (1998). He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery). Following a fellowship visit to Switzerland, he gained a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the general stream. Upon returning to Australia, Lynham worked as a maxillofacial consultant and trauma team member at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, and visiting medical officer at the Mater Private Hospital in Brisbane.
